BASIC INFORMATION
Located in the south of Bavan, it is found near one of the main pathways leading to Kulen. Established in Aug 2015 by Handsome Jack using a Tikbalang reward boon, and then taken over by Eikichi Mishina and Beatrice following the disappearance of both him and Nisha, it serves as a home for both monsters and some humans alike.

Eikichi being the new mayor of the town (and not elected sorry), the effort is between both him and Beatrice, who knew more of the previous pair of owners than he does. At first an effort to keep what had been started intact, Sanctuary has grown into a much more lose society that doesn't charge its people as long as they are willing to put in effort to keep the town running.

It serves as a safe place that anyone can come to and be protected from other monsters or crazy Bloody Bones members. While Handsome Jack might have run it more like a business operation, Eikichi's kinder heart and admittedly true lack of experience (apart from bossing around a school of delinquents), means that, for the most part, Sanctuary has become much more of what was promised on the tin than with its original owner.

Always under construction, the town has grown a lot from the past year. Efforts for new buildings and services is always being spear-headed by Eikichi, such as the recently opened gigantic swimming pool built in thanks to the help of trolls.

In keeping with the previous Boss, the fashion of Sanctuary appears to be more modern than even the Bavan fashion. However since Eikichi can't brainwash people, it's not as followed to a t as before. It continues to be more closer to modern steampunk. While more humans have come to Sanctuary following the attacks in Vandare, most have made some effort to adapt to the dress code to be able to stay.

Issues are dealt with in a kinder manner than before (and people who disagreed aren't eliminated either), but troublemakers, especially humans, are quickly thrown out should they step out of line.

Oh and don't diss Eikichi's singing. That's not a good idea.

THE RULES
Modified from the original before them, the rules to Sanctuary are as follows:

1. No littering (Keep the town clean babes, it's important!)
2. No stealing (We don't want to make the mayor angry hmmm?)
3. Don't lie, steal or eat another person's pets (And make sure your pets are kept on a leash too!)
4. Respect property boundaries: if it ain't yours, don't go in. (Got it?)
5. No eating the locals. If you disobey this rule, you will get evicted by any means necessary. (Let's not get down to having to kill you babes, but we won't hesitate to use brute force if we need to!)
6. Help others as much as you can, and remember we're all in this together!
7. Don't eat humans in front of humans. (We have to do what we have to do but be respectful, babes!)
8. Obey the Sheriff, her word is law. (And obey me too!)

Sanctuary has a jail that is overseen by staff, and strong enough to hold two monsters or a good amount of humans. If the crimes are repeated, eviction from the city may be imminent.

STAYING IN SANCTUARY
Currently the population of humans is more than those of monsters. Eikichi tries to keep an equal balance but won't say know to those in need.

Keep in mind he is very good with people contact and able to read a person's body language. Skilled liars can get things pass by him (or through typing), but he can usually smell when someone's trying to trick him.

Each of the houses can have up to 4 characters living together and are sturdily built.

The cost of rent is as much as the monster or monster-to-be can afford and give him. He's not trying to gain extra wealth, and mostly to keep the town running as smoothly as possible. Ironically, this change of ownership may cause the town to actually live up to its name.
